One of the key benefits of ZAVAM is that it gives you control of your images while providing tools that allow you to make the most of them. You are never locked in, you always have ownership of your images you are always free.
How does that work?
If you do not already have an account with Amazon S3 then you create one. We will show you how to give us read only access to your images. Behind the scenes we will keep track of your images in a personal index and we also will create thumbnails of every image you have.
What now?
If you already have a lot of images stored in S3 then it will take us a little while to create all your thumbnails but once that is done you will be able to browse all of your images, tag and create albums from them.
So how do I get my images to S3?
Good question. There are many applications that you can use. We suggest you use one that automatically syncs a folder. Then you can always be sure that all your images are backed up online. We will try and get some reviews of the best applications for your platform online soon.
Whats the catch?
Once ZAVAM is out of beta you will have to pay for it. We haven’t set prices yet but it will be affordable.
